Goals
At the end of the Roofer Assistant training, you will be able to
- to identify the condition of structures and/or frames
- to carry out carpentry work
- to install under-roofs
- to install thermal and/or sound insulation
- to create the roof support (latching, battening, etc.)
- to cut, install, adjust and fix the covering elements
- to make and install metal roof connections (valleys, hips, ridges, edges)
- to make roof penetration junctions (chimneys, snuff box, ventilation elements)
- to create and install gutters and downspouts
- to clean and tidy your workstation
- to ensure first level maintenance of tools and equipment
- to rigorously apply company safety rules (VCA)
