A project funded by TRAVI which aims to support young people under 26 looking for work
in the logistics sector in partnership with Training Solutions in Jumet.
Goals
- The forklift driver is a professional handling technician. He/she is responsible for moving materials and products stored in stocks using different types of handling equipment.
At the end of the training, you will have acquired the following technical skills
- Respect and rigorously apply safe codes of conduct for warehouse lifting equipment
- Respect handling gestures and postures
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE: gloves, safety shoes, helmet, suitable work clothing, etc.)
Other skills will also be acquired through job coaching
- Have a clear vision of the logistics sector and the different professions
- Have mobility solutions to move around areas
- Have an eye-catching personalized CV to convince temp agencies and be able to carry out job interviews with self-confidence
- Obtaining 3 forklift driver certificates (frontal, retrack, stacker and electric pallet truck) with knowledge of warehouse safety rules
- The final objective being to land a temporary job in the logistics sector

- Start: April 28, 2025
- End: June 6, 2025
- Duration: 6 weeks
- From 04/28 to 05/19: preparation for Welqome Day
- 20/05: Welcome Day
- From 05/21 to 05/30: forklift operator training
- From 02/06: reminder of employers met during Welqome Day and job search
